Bachelor of Legislative Laws (LLB)

LLB is Bachelor of Laws or Bachelor of Legislative Laws. LLB course duration is a three-year law degree program that provides a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of law, including constitutional law, criminal Law, civil law, corporate law, and more. LLB courses can be pursued by candidates who already have a bachelor’s degree or even a master’s degree in any subject.

 

Eligibility Criteria for Admission:

LLB Course: This course is open to students who have completed their graduation in any field like Art, Science, Engineering, and Technology. It is a three-year program where you specialize in law. Admission to LLB requires a Graduation degree (BA, B.Sc., B. Com., B. Sc. (Engg.), B. Tech. etc.) Moreover, some important and top LLB entrance exams in India are CLAT, AILET, LSAT, etc.

 

Admission Process:

Prospective students can register for courses through both online and offline modes, securing their seats in the desired programs.

 

Direct Admission

Priority is given to students based on their graduation marks. Additionally, preference is extended to those who have obtained their graduation degree from a university with a higher UGC ranking. This is by the guidelines set by the affiliated MJPR University, Bareilly, and the Bar Council of India.

 

Admission Through Counselling

For the LLB course, admission selection procedures are exclusively conducted through counseling by The State University.

  1. Applicants qualifying for the Entrance Examination are eligible to apply and subsequently admitted through counseling.
  2. Applicants must have passed the graduate degree 10+2+3 level examination (or its equivalent) with any discipline of Art, Science, Engineering, and Technology.

 

Entrance Exams:

HGOC requires you to appear for entrance exams like CLAT (Common Law Admission Test), AILET (All India Law Entrance Test), or state-level entrance exams.  Once you have cleared the exam, HGOC may conduct counseling sessions or admission rounds based on merit or rank. Attend the counseling sessions and complete the admission procedures as per the University directives.
